There is an Evangelion Store in several cities, including Hakone and Tokyo, but probably the most memorable and biggest (in terms of floor space) is the one in Fukuoka. The store is located at Canal City and is on the ground floor.
We were lucky to visit when there were a whole bunch of promotional material was launched to coincide with the release of the Godzilla film. Most of the promotional material centered around the mechs from Evangelion fighting against the famous kaiju himself, Godzilla.
The store has pretty much everything you would want. Everything is embroiled with Evangelion. You can purchase various clothes, like suit jackets, ties, watches, hats, etc, figurines and even bicycles.
If you are lucky, you can catch a short and exclusive clip of Evangelion at the water works in the central area of Canal City with all the typical Evangelion sounds and bombastic action.
