Khao Man Gai is located on the corner of Hardware Lane and Lonsdale Street. The restaurant does Thai comfort food, focusing on their version of Hainan Chicken with both steamed and fried options plus satay sauce options. On the menu are also Tom Yum, Noodle Soup and Thai Curry. If you here for the first time, definitely give their rice dishes a try.

There are lots of great options for lunch and dinner along Hardware Lane. One that caught my eye on a number of lunches has been this place. It seems to draw a decent number of people during lunch hour.
I ordered their Fried Chicken option for $19.50 and was able to self serve myself a glass of water.
When I received my plate, I was surprised by the large plate with what seemed like a little bit of food. But I was surprised by how filling it was.
The fried chicken was delicious, the chicken rice was fragrant, and the soup was super tasty.
I’d definitely come back for another round given that it was a quick, easy lunch and the food was nice.
