Star Casino on the Gold Coast has some great dining options, including both casual and fine dining. The complex consists of the casino, exhibition halls, restaurants, bars and the various hotels. The Star can be reached by car and the light rail.

Aside from the reasonable prices and despite ordering a few things, I regretted eating at Mei Mei Dumplings. The food is very disappointing. I should have tried a more esteemed restaurant.
The drinks options and table seating is okay, but there isn’t much else to it.
The menu consists of a bunch of street food like dumplings, roast meat, rice and noodle dishes. The menu looks interesting and affordable, but the things I tried didn’t give me much hope that other things would be good.
Bummed by the experience, but loved the service
The service was the best thing about Mei Mei Dumplings, the people were polite and helpful.
I ordered their Golden Buns (3pcs) for $12, Wonton Noodle Soup for $19, and Taro Milk Tea for $7.5. The Golden Buns were crispy with condensed milk, it is pretty much a crispy version of a custard egg bun. The Wonton Soup with noodles had bland soup, overcooked noodles, is small, but decent wontons. The Taro Milk Tea was sugary and creamy but super small and wasn’t worth it. Out of the three things, the Golden Buns were the only thing I enjoyed.
