Pokémon Center Taipei – one and only and it’s busy on weekends

This Pokémon Center shares a floor with other high-profile stores, including the Nintendo Store and fashion brands like Aape, creating a fun and youthful vibe tailored to the next generation of pop culture fans. The setting is sleek, modern, and designed to appeal to kids and nostalgic adults alike.
Weekends can get hectic, with long lines forming out the door and a time card system in place to control the crowds. If you want to avoid the rush and explore comfortably, aim for a weekday visit when you can walk straight in without restrictions.
What really makes Pokemon Center Taipei special is its exclusive merchandise. These are not available anywhere else in the world, so if you are a collector or simply want a memorable souvenir, this is where you should prioritise your shopping. From plushies to pins, the exclusives here are well designed and feel unique compared to what you find in other centers.

Apart from that, the store features the seasonal product lines seen across other Pokémon Centers, along with a selection of games, figures, keychains, and homeware. There is also a trading card section, although keep in mind that they primarily sell the Mandarin version of Pokémon TCG. For some collectors, this may not be ideal, but the card accessories—sleeves, binders, and deck boxes—follow the Japanese designs and are well worth picking up.
Prices here are a bit more expensive compared to Japan, but still fair considering the exclusivity and experience. We picked up a few unique items, adding to our growing collection of keepsakes from Pokémon Centers around the world. It’s always nice to have a physical memento tied to the places we’ve visited as a family.

Beyond shopping, the center often holds Pokémon-themed events and activities, making it more than just a retail store—it’s a community hub for fans young and old.
Whether you are in Taipei for sightseeing or hunting for rare merch, Pokemon Center Taipei is a great place to soak in the charm of Pokémon in a city setting.
