Warm Service and Thoughtful Touches

From the moment we arrived, the staff were welcoming and attentive, a refreshing trait that elevates the entire dining experience. One standout aspect was the generous and thoughtful inclusion of condiments. The chili oil, pickled chili and garlic, and fish chili sauce were all house-made, balanced, and elevated each dish to another level — particularly if you’re a fan of bold, punchy flavours.

A Hearty, Flavour-Forward Menu

We sampled two of their popular dishes. The Fried Chicken on Rice ($19.99) was a standout, with tender slices of chicken wok-fried in chili, garlic, spring onion, and onion — bold, savoury, and fragrant. It was accompanied by a comforting bowl of broth, adding warmth and value to the meal.

The Seafood Noodles ($18.99) turned out to be more of a pork and prawn noodle soup, which was not what we expected from the name but ended up being no disappointment. The soup was rich and aromatic, packed with depth and flavour that felt distinctly Cambodian without the inclusion of offal. The prawns were fresh, and the pork slices tender. Combined with the trio of condiments, it was a deeply satisfying bowl.

Menu Clarity Could Be Improved

The laminated double-sided A3 menu is chaotic — the dishes are listed without any clear structure, and while the inclusion of photos is helpful, the names of the dishes themselves often don’t provide enough detail about what you’re ordering. That said, the food more than makes up for the confusion.

Compact but Lively Atmosphere

The restaurant isn’t large but accommodates small groups of around four people comfortably. When we visited, it was absolutely buzzing — mostly filled with customers tucking into steaming bowls of Seafood Noodles or Beef Stew Noodles. Despite the crowd, service remained efficient and friendly.

Final Thoughts

This unassuming Cambodian spot in Noble Park punches well above its weight. While the menu layout could use some work, the flavours, service, and thoughtful extras make this a must-visit for Southeast Asian food lovers. It’s authentic, satisfying, and a local gem that deserves all the praise it’s getting. We’ll definitely be back.
