The Beetle Café is located on the top floor at Dandenong Square. It serves up coffee and other breakfast items plus a range of Philipino breakfast dishes like the Tapsilog (stir fried beef and garlic rice). Every time I walk past, I am amazed by the number of people at the cafe enjoying the dishes and drinks with their peers.

The Beetle Café seems to have a lot of people sitting down enjoying their various dishes and drinks. I’m always surprised that there are at least double digit numbers each lunch period.
I ordered their Tapsilog for $12 along with a coffee. I was pleased to see the plate of food when it came. It was a visually appealing and other element was done well, though I wish the beef was slightly rarer and more fatter. What made the dish great was the garlic rice.
