You can grab a takeaway coffee and cake or choose to settle in for a proper meal inside, which is what we did.

It came with risotto and slices of plantain, which added a subtle sweetness and contrast to the savoury beef.
The plantain, often described as a cooking banana, is something many Australians might not have tried before. In this dish, it provided a beautiful balance — soft, sweet and earthy against the hearty tomato sauce. The risotto also soaked up the sauce perfectly, turning what could have been a simple side into something more. It was the kind of dish that makes you slow down and savour each bite.

Brazilian-Style Churrasco: A Feast of Grilled Goodness
Next, we tried the Brazilian-Style Churrasco, priced at thirty-three dollars. This was another standout. The dish featured grilled and smoked pork fillet served with a side of potatoes and mixed vegetables. It came topped with a fresh chimichurri, a vibrant green sauce made with herbs, garlic and olive oil that gave the meat a lift and a burst of freshness.
What stood out was the balance of textures and flavours on the plate. The pork had a nice smokiness without being heavy, the potatoes were crisp on the outside and soft inside, and the vegetables — including broccoli, corn, plantain and even apricot — added a touch of sweetness and variety. My friend ordered their margaritas and commented that they were particularly good, better than some he has had at other bars around the city.
