Happy Lemon on Elizabeth Street – Melbourne – a great avocado matcha smoothie!

When I wrote this review the Swanston Street and Midcity Arcade stores were still open, but now it’s just their Elizabeth Street store.

Happy Lemon at Midcity Arcade in Chinatown on Little Bourke Street can be an easy vendor to walk past without noticing. It manages to offer some incredible drinks, including their salted cheese toppings and fruit smoothies, and bubble waffles. I recommend giving either their Manga Matcha or Avocado Matcha Smoothies a go. 

I was sadden when Happy Lemon’s store along Swanston Street closed. It was a bigger location with seats and tables. It was simply a great location. But glad that they are still around at both Chinatown and on Elizabeth Street.

I frequented with my wife often to order their drinks. Back then we absolutely loved their Banana Avocado Matcha Smoothie. But unfortunately it’s no longer on the menu. I tend to either order their smoothie or one of their yakult drinks. Whereas my wife likes their taro balls toppings and usually orders a milk tea with it.

I’m happy with Happy Lemon

I feel that Happy Lemon offers a strong selection of drinks. It’s quite versatile and I appreciate that they actually use real fruits and ingredients.

On a hot day, I can easily chug one of their smoothies. They are incredibly good and well worth the price.
