You wouldn’t expect really good donuts in an industrial complex, but Grumpy Donuts is one of those places. It’s located in a not-so-obvious location in what looks like a factory with its sliding doors open. The only give away in the bright green bench and campervan inside the venue.
Highlights | Recommend the Fritter and the Vanilla Glaze donuts |
Cost | $5-7 for each donut, highly recommend the Fritter which has blueberries and a delicious glaze |
Location | 31 Sydney Street, Marrickville 2204 |
Website | grumpydonuts.orderup.com.au |
The donuts are on display without prices, but they range from $5 to $7.
I recommend purchasing their Fritter because it has blueberries inside and is coated in a delicious glaze. It’s like eating a Krispy Kreme but way better.

I also had their Maple Iced Coffee for $7. It provided sufficient wake-up and wasn’t too sweet. The maple flavour was definitely distinctive.
