Let’s Relax Spa, Thai Massage – Bangkok – an authentic rejuvenation of the mind and body

In Thailand, you need to get yourself a massage. It’s doesn’t necessarily need to be a Thai massage, any massage will do. Thai massages generally apply gentle pressure and stretching techniques to relax the whole body, but it can be painful, bone-cracking and off-putting to some.

Nevertheless, in Thailand, things are cheaper and more affordable. What would cost several hundred in Western countries, can be yours to experience at a fraction of the cost. We paid about $120 per person for our experience. I think my experience at the Let’s Relax Spa at the Berkeley Hotel was great value and helped rejuvenate my body. That’s why if you are looking for a massage, I recommend visiting one of the many popular Let’s Relax Spa parlors in Thailand.

We booked our experience on Klook for a slight discount. Once we booked via Klook, we were provided a coupon code that we used to book an appointment at one of the many parlors via their website. Given its proximity to the center of town, we booked our experience at the Berkeley Hotel.

Just a word of warning, if you plan to get a massage, it is highly recommended that you book in advance, because the Let’s Relax Spa franchise is one of the most popular spas in Thailand.

We booked a 2 hours and 45 minutes treatment for both me and my wife. The treatment included a hot herbal compress Thai massage and foot reflexology.

Before entering our private room, we were offered some green tea and some warm wet towels.

The Let’s Relax Spa interiors always look majestic with the gold lettering for its sign and well maintained, organised store.

We started with the foot reflexology. I have a video of this moment. There were certainly a lot of cracking of joints. The cracking of joints sounds horrific, but it was really pleasant and enjoyable.

We both got changed into a Thai outfit and had our massage done here. I think I was dozing in and out of my treatment. It was very relaxing.

By the end of the massage, my body was feeling a lot more nimble and agile. I could easily twist my body, consider a cartwheel or jump up and down several times. But there was jasmine tea and mango and sticky rice on offer, so I needed to behave myself. Delicious.

My mind and body felt really good for several days after the massage. I wasn’t quite dancing in the clouds, but my mood was up and body was less lethargic.

While a Thai massage isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, I recommend doing a massage in Thailand. There are so many parlors to choose from, with different techniques, and each experience varies in cost. While this experience was on the more expensive side, I had several more massages during this trip that were a lot cheaper, including at Khao San Road, etc.

We visited the Let’s Relax Spa at 559 The Berkeley Hotel, Pratunam, 10 Floor, Ratchaprarop Road, Kwang Makkasan, Khet Ratchathewee, Bangkok 10400.
