Piccolina Gelateria at Chadstone – Malvern East – a busy ice-creamery at the ‘shopping capital’

Piccolina Gelateria is located in the middle of Chadstone’s Social Quarter. It’s proving to be a really popular ice-creamery with long queues almost every evening.

Piccolina offers a large array of exciting ice-cream flavours with gelato and dairy-free options, plus a bunch of special flavours. It also offers some pretty cakes, but none are cheap – like their Bombe Alaska for $72 and Ferrolina Rocher for $98.

A scoop of ice-cream will set you back $6.8. You have the option of getting a serving of nutella drizzled all over the ice-cream for an extra $1.

I ordered a scoop of their dairy-free Pistachio ice-cream and it was damn good.

I was impressed with the amount of ice-cream they managed to slap into the waffle cone and also by the fact that the ice-cream wasn’t melting as other varieties.
