Adventure Cove Waterpark – Singapore – brings back your inner child by vising this well laid out waterpark

For a 20 something year old (at the time), going to the waterpark isn’t exactly something that I thought I would enjoy. Having visited back in 2017, I reflect and think it was a really worthwhile experience. I enjoyed a lot of the activities that were on offer at the park from the snorkeling, floating around the whole park in a floatie and dunking myself in all sorts of attractions, from mazes to playgrounds to a giant slides. It was a day where I could laze about, but on the day, I was actively out and about.

There is something for everyone here. Many of the facilities from the wristbands for lockers, shower/bathroom areas, and shopping/dining experiences were really good.

When I visited, I found the journey to the entrance a complete nightmare. Avoid at all costs traveling from the west even though it looks like there are paths or roads that lead to to the waterpark. The best way to get there by public transport is to land at the center of Sentosa Island and just follow the wharf along the east of the waterpark.

When you arrive, I recommend finding yourself a locker and getting a wristband. Chuck everything into the locker and then if you are lucky, grab a floatie and just enjoy the ride around the winding Adventure River, which pretty much takes you around the whole park.

There are parts in the winding Adventure River will take you through a water tunnel and past some water spouts. You can just laze about as the water takes you along its current.

There are a good range of slides and rides from the Pipeline Plunge, Riptide Rocket, Whirlpool Wipeout and Water Maze. The queues were long for some of the slides and because I was always wet, it got really cold waiting in the queues. (Bring someone you can hug for collective warmth or have a handy person on the sidelines who can pass you the towel.)

The whole park was clean and felt safe. There were plenty of families with children having a great time around the park. Make sure you bring a spare bag for your wet gear, some slippers, towel and an umbrella in case it rains.

There are even animals at the park to see and swim with. Most of these sections are carefully controlled by the staff so that you don’t do anything crazy. There are stingrays, dolphins and plenty of fishes. You have to pay extra to see the dolphins.

We bought our tickets in advance through Klook and it was a straight forward process. When entering the park, you are not able to bring your own food and drinks and they will check your bag.

Adventure Cove Waterpark Singapore is located on Sentosa Island at 8 Sentosa Gateway, Singapore 098269:
