Bakmi Lim Noodle Project at QV – Melbourne – Indonesian handmade noodle dishes
Bakmi Lim Noodle Project at QV is worth visiting. It’s a place offering a range of Indonesian style noodles. You can choose whichever noodles you want, with most of the noodles being hand pulled. If you choose a noodle dish, you are able to add a free soup and the level of chili. Overall, it was a worthwhile experience during a quick lunch break.

With a revamped Food Hall at QV, I stumbled across Bakmi Lim Noodle Project with its radiant red and pearl white signs. Bakmi Lim Noodle Project offers both Nasi/Rice and Bakmi/Noodle dishes. Most of the rice and noodle dishes have the same set of toppings. When placing your order, you can choose the type of noodle you want and whether you want chili or not.

I opted for their Roast Pork Noodles for $18.90 and asked for the soup. The noodles was really nice, coming with crunchy wonton skin, tender pork, and some nice greens. I wasn’t sure the roast pork was what I expected, but it was tender. The soup was nice and peppery and was a nice accompaniment with the noodle dish. Before eating, I made sure to mix the bowl to ensure each mouthful had a bit of everything.
