Getting There: A Bit of a Maze, But Worth It

Finding the restaurant requires some navigation. After arriving at Taipei City Hall Station, we took the Breeze elevators to the 4th floor, then walked across to a set of dedicated lifts that whisk guests up to the restaurant. It’s a somewhat convoluted journey, but once inside, you’re greeted by expansive city views and the soft hum of a high-end dining crowd.

Early Evening Vibes and a Packed House

We had a 5:30 PM dinner booking and found a queue already forming. Clearly, INPARADISE is popular with both locals and tourists—many groups had gathered for birthdays and celebrations. A note of frustration: the staff asked us to remove our small pram despite it being out of the way. Not a dealbreaker, but an unnecessary inconvenience for families with young children.

A Luxurious Buffet Spread

This is where INPARADISE truly shines. The buffet selection was vast and refined, with premium items you don’t usually find at standard buffets. We indulged in ox tongue, pork belly skewers, tempura prawns, rack of lamb, Peking duck, king snow crab, and abalone congee. Many items are made-to-order, ensuring freshness and flavor in every bite.

The dessert station was equally tempting. We were especially impressed with the canelé and cakes, though the crème brûlée and souffle were underwhelming in comparison. Still, the variety and quality across the board were remarkable.

Drinks That Deliver

Another highlight was the drink selection. Unlike many buffets that charge extra for alcohol or premium drinks, INPARADISE includes cocktails, milk teas, coffees, soft drinks, juices, and an impressive tea bar in the buffet price. Every cocktail we tried was well-made and perfectly balanced.

Views and Vibes

The ambience is elevated, both literally and figuratively. Dining with a view of Taipei 101 as the city transitions from day to night adds a magical touch. For special occasions, we saw plates with birthday candles being brought out, adding a personal touch to the dining experience.

Service and Price

Service was generally efficient but not particularly warm or flexible (especially in regard to the pram policy). The buffet is certainly at the pricier end—especially the dinner session, which is the most expensive—but it delivers more than most hotel buffets in terms of variety, quality, and premium offerings.

Final Verdict

INPARADISE Breeze Xinyi is a top-tier buffet experience in Taipei. While the price might be a splurge, the views, food quality, drink inclusions, and overall variety justify the cost. Perfect for special occasions or anyone wanting to treat themselves to an unforgettable evening of dining above the city.
