Kokoro Sushi – Camberwell – popular go-to for sushi along Burke Road

Nestled along the bustling Burke Road in Camberwell, Kokoro Sushi is a popular go-to for sushi foodies. This vibrant sushi train joint doesn’t offer online reservations, but instead, invites patrons to queue up for a designated 40-minute session—a testament to its popularity.

During peak hours, especially at lunch and dinner, the restaurant bustles with eager diners, a testament to its reputation for serving up delectable Japanese fare. For those on the go, takeaway options are readily available, with an extensive display of sushi and bento boxes, catering to a variety of tastes and preferences.

Seated comfortably in one of their snug table booths at 1:30 pm, our dining experience began with a unique touch – a tablet for ordering specific menu items. This added a modern twist to the traditional sushi train experience. Special orders were delivered with a touch of flair, thanks to a toy sushi train—a delightful touch that added to the overall charm.

Opting for both the udon and curry chicken rice, I was pleasantly surprised by the generous portions. Each dish proved to be hearty and satisfying, providing a delightful blend of flavours that left me feeling thoroughly content.
