While the ice-creamery boasts a modern facade, it’s evident that some finishing touches, like the walls, were still in progress during my visit. Plastic chairs, seemingly out of place in this setting, provided seating for patrons, creating a somewhat unexpected contrast against the contemporary backdrop.

On the evening of my visit, a queue of eager patrons stretched out the door, indicating its popularity. However, there were occasional hiccups with electronic payments, likely due to connectivity issues.

Kariton Sorbetes offers a variety of options to suit every dessert lover’s preferences. You can opt for a single scoop at $6.8 or double your pleasure with two scoops for $8.7, all served in cones, cups, or upgrade to a bun for an additional dollar. Alternatively, you can take your treat to-go with half a litre, allowing you to savor two flavors for $15.5 or indulge in a full litre with four flavors for $25.5.

Experience

What sets Kariton Sorbetes apart are its intriguing and exotic flavors, including ube (purple yam), durian, guyabano (soursop), dulce de leche, and pandan. For those seeking a different kind of dessert experience, the ice-creamery also offers pre-packaged delights like choc-tops and ice-cream sandwiches.

During my visit, I opted for the ube and pandan flavors, priced at $8.7. The ube offered a delightful, milky sweetness, though the yam flavour was somewhat elusive. In contrast, the pandan flavour was more pronounced, and the addition of coconut flakes provided an enjoyable textural element.
